A decade of reporting on Phineas Fisher, the hacktivist behind the FinFisher and Hacking Team breaches, still uncaught and untraced.

A hacker operating under the name Phineas Fisher has not been publicly active since 2019, according to a reporter who says they have maintained direct contact with the individual for roughly a decade. The reporter states that Phineas remains “alive and well” and was last in contact within the past two years.
